A viral story (with pictures) has been circling Facebook this past few days, regarding a former police officer killing his neighbor’s 9-year-old dog because it was ‘too noisy’. Let us start this article by correcting any false information regarding the said viral story.
This story is actually two separate incidents. Facebook user Elaine Fermin posted her unfortunate experience after her neighbor, a former police officer, shot her dog dead for still an unknown reason. The suspect’s name is Dominador Capispisan a.k.a. ‘Ding’. Her 9-year-old dog Yishen died after sustaining a fatal bullet wound to her abdominal area. Elaine Fermin is apparently from Bulacan.
Meanwhile, the more viral post was on Twitter by user Roxie Lizardo, boasting about how her father killed their neighbor’s dog because it was apparently ‘too noisy’. Roxie and her fatherAntonio Lizardo are from Calamba, Laguna—a bit far from Elaine’s Bulacan.
What made netizens angry was how Roxie reacted to what her father did. She posted everything on Twitter and Facebook, gathering negative attention as time went by. The only mistake was some people merged the two different stories and became viral as one.
Elaine Fermin posted a short explanation on Facebook’s public group “Dog Lovers Philippines” explaining that she does not know the father and daughter accused of killing her dog.
I personally don’t know who Roxi and her father is. But the 9-year-old dog shot to death was mine. It wasn’t Roxi’s father who shot my dog. It is the same case as mine, but I am from Bulacan and they are from Laguna. The man who shot my dog is a former police officer. This post is to clear things up. Thank you.
Though Antonio Lizardo and Roxie are both innocent regarding Elaine’s dog, they should still be held liable for killing their neighbor’s dog.
